Foresters endorsement signature is on the back of the note. “Due the Bearer One Dollar in Merchandise or When The Sum of $5, $10, $20, $50 is Presented at our Counter Confederate Notes, Will Be Paid for the Same”. Dated January 23rd, 1862.
